Welcome to my thought space! I wanted to start by considering what it means to "find your niche." It pops up now and then as advice to distinguish yourself from the competition - be it in the context of a company or individual professional. And there is profound merit in doing this, but I think there's also a second to layer it. Find your niche, but excel in several disciplines.

Take internal communications, which is my niche as a professional communicator. There are quite a few skills that make up my role - writing, business strategy, multimedia content production... even basic psychology principles. They are different skills, but when woven together, form my approach to helping employees go from the world that is, the world that could be.
I believe in both carving a niche and being a jack of all trades. When you put it in the right context, magic can really happen.
